Length: 2.5 km | Climb: 5 m | Descent: 325 m | Level of technical difficulty: High

The Lulin twist is a "twisted" route. It is characterized by multiple serpentines, each of which differs in difficulty - there are quite easy ones, there are harder ones, and there are 1-2 masterful ones, though even these are not too scary or difficult. So it's ideal for both people with more experience who want to ride this type of terrain without exerting themselves too much, and for people who already have some experience on technical trails but want to specifically practice their cornering on sharp switchbacks.

The trail starts from the road connecting Manastirski (Bonsovi) Meadows with Mt. Dupevitsa. You climb it for about 1 km and at a combination of left and right turn you have to  see on the left (item 01) a wide path used by ATVs. Take it in an easterly direction (i.e. back to Manastirski meadows) and after 30-40 m (point 02) look for a faint path to the right through the forest. From here start the easier serpentines . After the first 3-4 turns you pass a small shelter and descend steeply to an almost drying fountain (pt.04). Here you should stop and look around - the widest paths continue straight and right, and there are two others to the left - upper and lower. You should catch the lower one, which is narrow and flat, with blue hiking markings. Undercutting the slope, you cross a dirt road (item 05) and continue on the other side - first through clearings, and once you enter the woods get ready for the first more difficult (or rather scary) serpentine. At p.06 the path continues to the right (with a serpentine, of course), and at p.07 you cross a stream and are again to the right and down a temporary dirt road (made for a power line), turning sharp left at its end and continuing along the narrow path. You cross another ravine where the last two coils are, then you come out at the Sofia-Pernik railway line (item 08), where you carefully cross and continue down a stone lane to Chernya Kos - the exit to the Sofia-Vladaya road is quite dangerous, so reduce your speed considerably!

You can reach the Monastery (Bonsov) Meadows by self-propelled car both from Gorna Banya (on asphalt) and from Knyazhevo (on dirt roads).
